Hey, I’m David! My technical interests are split between two exciting fields. By day, I’m a cloud developer at SAP; in my studies, I’m a Data Science Master’s student at the University of Mannheim.
At work, I’m focused on the challenges of distributed systems: building resilient Kubernetes controllers, architecting for scale, and ensuring system reliability. In contrast, my university work allows me to explore the world of machine learning and AI from the ground up.
What unites these interests is my passion for building things. I frequently use Rust, Go, Python, and TypeScript to create software that adds value, whether it’s a large-scale system or a small CLI I develop on the side to automate a personal task. When I’m not coding, I’m often wiring up some microelectronics at home.
